Removing the Brake Rotor

To remove the brake rotor, the 4x mounting bolts will need to be unscrewed and fully removed, using a 5mm Allen Wrench.

Lift the worn brake rotor off the SPEEDHUB 500/14 hub-cap, and discard.

Installing the Brake Rotor

Check the rotational direction printed on the Rohloff brake rotor, to ensure this gets installed correctly. Place rotor onto SPEEDHUB 500/14 hub-cap, and rotate until the holes align with the threaded bolt holes of the hub-cap.

Secure the brake rotor in place using the 4 special, Rohloff brake rotor mounting bolts (Art.#8214). Tighten these bolts using a 5mm Allen Wrench.

Tightening Torque: 10Nm
