Patrick Uhlig Wins Classical Street Bike Race In Reute/Germany

Reute, 17.06.2007/gug

Actually, GHOST-Team rider Patrick Uhlig has started at the 51st classical street bike race around the LBS-Cup in Reute in order to help defending the yellow shirt of his team mate Sebastian Linser as the leading biker of the series in total. Really.

But the high motivated athlete from Freiburg/Germany ended up in a group of 17 top riders ahead and sensed his chance ...

After a first attack with Differdange-Pro Stefan Heiny 5km before finish has turned out being a failure, Patrick played all on one card 500m before the finishing line. He took the lead apart from the group and only Frank Dressler (Differdange) could follow, but he had no concept against the formidable finishing sprint of Patrick. After 131km in 2:58h the 24 years old student put his name in the winner's list in front of three KT-Profs of this prestigious classical street bike race.
